Students must strive for an ideal life: Brahmachari Girish Ji
BHOPAL [Maha Media]: The 10-day Maharishi Vedic Life Training Program completed on 29 May 2026 at the Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence auditorium in Bhopal. While distributing certificates and awards to the participating students for their outstanding performances, Ved Vidya Martan Brahmachari Girish Ji, Hon’ble Chairman of the Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group, noted that the training program represented a mini-India, showcasing a beautiful blend of diversity of states, languages, and cultures. He emphasized that achieving an ideal life should be the ultimate goal for students. He inspired participants to take the knowledge gained during this training back to their respective states, cities, schools, and friends to spread awareness about Indian Vedic Knowledge.
In his address, Brahmachari Girish Ji explained that liberation or salvation is impossible without knowledge, which should be everyone's ultimate goal. He advised students to ensure that their personality, dignity, and unique identity shine through, no matter where they are placed in the society. He urged them to remain grounded and resilient, emphasizing the importance of standing firm in their principles against any external pressures. To achieve this, he highlighted the need for pure and positive speech and language, as they reflect one's character and simplicity. He recommended that students practice Transcendental Meditation and the Siddhi program for 20 minutes twice daily and prepare for the Global Leader Program being offered by the Maharishi Institution.
Following his address, Brahmachari Girish Ji honored more than 122 participants with certificates and awarded shields to those who excelled in various cultural competitions. He also announced that the Maharishi Institution would introduce scholarships in singing and instrumental music starting this session, with official notifications to be issued soon.
Kavya Chauhan from Maharishi Vidya Mandir shared her experience of the 10-day training program, describing it as deeply peaceful and a significant boost to her self-confidence. Similarly, Ratan Jatri from Maharishi Vidya Mandir Chennai noted that the program had completely transformed his life, with the positive Vedic knowledge leaving a profound impact and bringing about significant inner change.
In accordance with the traditions of the Maharishi Institution, the event began with the Guru Parampara Poojan and concluded with the recognition of teachers and students who secured top positions in various cultural contests. The event was attended by notable figures, including former Vice-Chancellor of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University Prof. Bhuvnesh Sharma, Director of Communication and Public Relations Vijay Ratna Khare, Editor of Mahamedia Magazine Nitesh Parmar, and National Coordinator of Maharishi Transcendental Meditation and Siddhi Ram Vinod Gaur. The 10-day Maharishi Vedic Life Training Program was jointly organized by the Maharishi Vidya Mandir Schools Group and the Maharishi Vedic Training Institute.
