Brahmachari Girish Ji extends Shri Durga Ashtami greetings
BHOPAL (Maha Media): On the occasion of Shri Durga Ashtami, Brahmachari Girish Ji, the head of the Maharishi World organization, has conveyed his heartfelt greetings to the nation. Shri Durga Ashtami, a key day in the Navratri festival, honors the power and grace of Goddess Durga. In his message, Brahmachari Girish expressed his blessings for the well-being and prosperity of all.
The eighth day of Navratri is particularly dedicated to worshiping Maa Mahagauri, a revered form of Goddess Parvati. At the Swami Brahmanand Saraswati Ashram in Bhopal, Vedic rituals are being conducted, including the Sri Sahasrachandi Mahayagya and the recitation of the Sri Durga Saptashati, performed by 121 Vedic Pandits. Many officials, staff from the Maharishi Sansthan, and devotees are actively participating in these ceremonies to seek divine blessings.
The festivities will culminate with Ram Navami, which celebrates the birth of Lord Ram. As part of the celebrations, Kanya Bhoj will be held, wherein young girls, symbolizing the divine feminine, are honored with food offerings.
