Fire breaks out at Mumbai airport Terminal 1B
MUMBAI [Maha Media]: A fire broke out at Terminal 1 of Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport on Thursday evening. Fire brigade and emergency teams rushed to the scene and brought the fire under control within a short time. No injuries were reported.
According to an airport spokesperson, the fire broke out at 6:10 p.m. Initial investigations suggest a short circuit may have caused the fire.
The fire was confined to the ceiling level of the power house on the ground floor. Electrical trays, wiring, cables, installations, and electrical panels were burned.
